An offline productivity app that keeps your data on your PC.
No sync service, no waiting for a connection. Your tasks, habits and focus history live in a file you can back up.

What local-first means here
Local-first means the app works fully on your machine. Minmento stores your data in a SQLite file inside your Windows user profile and does not need an internet connection once installed. There is no sync engine running in the background, so your tasks are not uploaded.
A file you own, with backups on demand
Export a full JSON backup of tasks, subtasks, lists, folders, tags, habits, countdowns, focus sessions and comments, and import it on another PC.
- Settings, then Backup and Data, then Export Full JSON Backup
- Open Data Folder to see where the file lives
- Moving to a new laptop: install Minmento, then Import
Backup and Data
Widgets, tray and startup
Pin any list to your desktop as a small always-on-top widget. Closing the main window minimises Minmento to the tray so reminders and widgets keep working, and you can launch it at Windows startup.
- Widgets for Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 Days, Inbox, High Priority or any list
- Tray menu: Open, Quick Capture, Quit
- Optional launch at Windows startup
The database is written atomically, so a crash or power cut mid-save cannot leave a half-written file. If a file is ever unreadable, Minmento sets it aside and starts fresh instead of refusing to open.
Apart from the check for a newer version, nothing is transmitted off your machine. Your backups are wherever you save the JSON exports.
