What is Minmento?

In one paragraph

Minmento is a desktop app for Windows 10 and 11 that lets you capture, plan, do and review your work in one place. It combines a task manager with Kanban, Timeline, Canvas and calendar views, an Energy Map, a Pomodoro timer, a habit tracker and countdowns. Your data is stored in a local file on your PC, and the app works without an internet connection.

Who it is for

• People who work mainly on a Windows PC and want the app to feel at home there, with a tray icon, desktop widgets and a global hotkey.
• People who want one app for tasks, focus time and habits instead of three.
• People who would rather their to-do list lived on their own machine.

What it is not

• It is not a team tool. There are no shared workspaces.
• It does not sync between devices today, and there is no mobile app.
• It is not a notes or documents app.

How it works day to day

Press Ctrl + Space to capture a task from anywhere. Open Today to see what is due. Switch to Kanban, Timeline or the calendar when you want a different view of the same tasks, start a Pomodoro from Focus to do the work, and check Habits and Stats to see how the week went.

Where your data lives

In a SQLite file inside your Windows user profile. Minmento has no sync service, so your tasks are not uploaded. Export a full JSON backup in Settings whenever you like, and import it on another PC. The app asks you to sign in with Google when you first open it, and states that signing in does not sync or upload your tasks.
